In an effort to put pressure on the mayor and the school board for adequate funding, we are asking that you send the following statement:

"If BCPSS can not sustain success, then their only purpose is to sustain failure. Where is the hope for our children? Fund New Song Academy!"

    I have done my emailing, regardless of whether I live in the county or not, I figured it couldn't hurt. I've also tried to call in a big (blog) gun to see if we can get some national readership on this... I'll let you know what she says! Love to you and the shorties, I've got my fingers SO crossed!

    the story about our school is on the www, too, so i am thinking that anyone...everyone...in the world can respond with what they feel.
