january challenge: personal history

this is one of my favorite photos of me.
i am nine months old.
my uncle frank used to let me
drink beer out of his bottle!
judging by the smile on my face,
i must've liked it!
i guess i've always liked beer...



i thought this photo was also appropriate
this week since i am still on vacation
and i have enjoyed a beer, or two over
the holidays!

i am shortie-free until next monday.
i have to say that i miss them a lot!
i am excited to hear about their breaks
and dig into a new approach to writing.
(inspired by a book that my aunt gave me
for christmas!)

mostly. i miss my daily hugs.
(i get at least 28 a day!)

so, i will enjoy another beer and toast to the shorties
and a peaceful new year for all of us everywhere!
