i am thankful for
the love of my life.
my husband rocks.
just when i don't
think i could possibly
love someone more,
i find that i can.

i am grateful for
my family.
i find strength in them.
i am appreciative of their wisdom and love.

i am thankful for
the shorties all.
the tough ones and the
ones that throw their arms
around me each day.
i am humbled and rewarded
by the lessons
they teach me.

i have a (leaky) roof over my head
and food in my belly.
i am warmed by clean flannel sheets,
a purring cat by my toes,
and the spooning of my man each night.

i am breathing deeply
and aware. so very aware.
