santa is watching...
of course, i won't use this line
on the shorties...
no really,
i won't.
the tree is up and plans are being made.
we are celebrating christmas in the mexican tradition.
through my research, i found that there is a tradition to have
NINE parties, one each day, before christmas eve!
i know the shorties will be stoked about that
because we would have to have three parties a week
until our christmas break to
live up to that tradition.
yikes!
i will keep you posted.
I was reading about your Mexican Christmas, and wondering if there would be any jewish kids left out, until I remembered that Sandtown is faith based, and therefore a bit simpler, huh? Ha ha ha. Silly me!
ReplyDeletenot silly at all!
ReplyDeleteand not too simple...each class in our school is exploring different celebrations. (our fifth/sixth grade girls are digging into hannukah)
then, each class is doing a presentation and teaching to the rest of the school.
but, you are right, all of the kids in our school are christian and celebrate christmas.
today, the shorties were upset, "what do you mean there is no snow in mexico!!!?"
maybe you could send us some, cous!
hee!
